Working with the Town of Apex and development partners, we'll create new homes on trust-held land — sold at below-market prices to income-qualified buyers, with affordability protections that last through every future sale. The Town has identified town-owned land, including a site on South Hughes Street, as a potential location for the trust's first homes.

Every land trust home comes with a long-term, renewable ground lease. We'll steward those leases for the life of the trust — supporting homeowners, administering resales, and making sure every home stays affordable for the next family.

Buying a land trust home is a little different from a conventional purchase. We plan to offer clear guidance, pre-purchase education, and connections to participating lenders so buyers know exactly what they're getting — and what makes it a great deal.
