Chair
Alaina is the co-founder of Garman Homes, an award-winning homebuilder based in the Triangle known for design innovation and a people-first approach to building. A nationally recognized leader in residential construction, she brings deep experience in what it actually takes to design, build, and deliver homes — and a builder's conviction that everyone deserves a great one.
Treasurer
Jacob serves as the board's Treasurer, overseeing the trust's finances as it grows from a startup nonprofit into a long-term steward of community land. Full bio coming soon.
Secretary · Wake County Representative
Morgan is the Director of Wake County's Housing Affordability and Community Revitalization Department. Her career in housing policy spans leadership roles with the Town of Cary, Nashville's Housing Trust Fund, the Tennessee Housing Development Agency, and the Chicago Area Fair Housing Alliance. She holds a master's degree in public policy and administration from Northwestern University and serves as vice president of the North Carolina Women's Affordable Housing Network.
Board Member · Town of Apex Representative
Terry is the Mayor Pro Tempore of the Apex Town Council, where he has served since 2019 and chairs the Town's Finance Committee. A principal software engineer by profession, he also represents Apex on regional bodies including the Central Pines Regional Council. He serves on the board as the Town of Apex's representative.
